30.12.25The new Regulation No. 2024/3110/EU establishing harmonized rules for the marketing of construction products and applies from 8 January 2026. 20.10.25The Regulation proposal approved establishes that, within six years of the Regulation’s entry into force, the plastic contained in each new type-approved vehicle must consist of at least 20% recycled plastic.

Also for batteries, recycled content is mandatory
20.10.25From 18 August 2028, industrial batteries with a capacity greater than 2 kWh (excluding those with exclusively external storage), electric vehicle batteries, and automotive batteries whose active materials contain cobalt, lead, lithium, or nickel must be accompanied by documentation containing information on the percentage of cobalt, lithium, or nickel present in the active materials and recovered from battery manufacturing waste or post-consumer waste.
