CERTIFICATION

A certified model

For everybody

ReMade is the first scheme to certify the content of recycled materials and byproducts, accredited and recognized at an international level.
By decision of CONAI, the ReMade Foundation was established in 2024, building on the experience of the ReMade in Italy Association and its many member companies.

For companies

The ReMade Foundation provides companies that manufacture using materials derived from recycling and byproducts with a certification tool. It offers operational support to help companies understand the steps required to obtain certification and the tangible benefits for enhancing the value of certified products in both public and private markets. To this end, it also provides specific consultancy on communicating certified products.

Impact

Certified recycled content from A to Z

The certification process retraces the journey of materials that go from waste to new raw material and then back into a product. ReMade is a ‘traceability scheme’, ensuring maximum clarity and transparency for consumers - even for products made from different materials and across all sectors.

An Italian experience at the heart of change

2009
The birth of ReMade in Italy Association

ReMade in Italy is founded as a non-profit organization with the objective of supporting and enhancing products derived from recycling. • finished products
2024
From the Association to the Foundation

In 2024, the Association completed its transformation by becoming the ReMade Foundation.
